We are very excited to enter a new stage in our relationship
I wanted to send a message that I recently became engaged to a unique, incredible, God-fearing man whom I met on Lutheran Singles back in November (Known on Lutheran Singles as Bdhall). We are planning to get married a year from this summer because of the big changes that have to take place (he is in Indiana and I am in Oregon). We are very excited to enter a new stage in our relationship and have enjoyed the journey of talking to each other, then meeting each other, and then becoming engaged to each other and being at the stage we are today. Thank you for providing a service that allowed us to meet each other!

On a whim...

I just wanted to meet a nice, God-fearing Lutheran girl that I could also communicate with. Unfortunately, these two simple requirements proved much harder than I thought, and after spending two years on this and other dating sites, I was ready to give up. On a whim, I logged in again to find that my now-fiancée was profile of the week. I knew I had to act quickly so she would not be snapped up by other suitors (although she claimed she wasn't looking for love in the first place). We exchanged a few emails on this site and got to talking on instant messenger before meeting for a real life date. As they say, the rest is history, and four months later, we're blissfully engaged!

I have to admit that I wasn't looking for love when I joined this site; rather it was the message boards that caught my attention. I was here to have theological discussions and perhaps gain a friendship or two. I was notified that I could become the profile of the week if I wanted. So I did it on a whim, not expecting anything to come from it. Well it didn't take long before several e-mails poured into my inbox. There was one humorous e-mail that caught my attention; I had to get to know this guy better. After chatting in one of the chat rooms together, we continued to converse over Instant Messenger. This led to meeting Mr. Wonderful in person. Many phone calls, e-mails, and dates later I'm now engaged to this man who continues to sweep me off my feet. I never dreamed that it would happen to me. I guess it's as they say, love comes when you least expect it!

In July 2005, I received a smile. The next day I sent the first e-mail to her and we began exchanging e-mails at least 1 time per day. After a few weeks we started talking on the phone and have not missed talking on the phone every day for over 4 months. After 3 months of talking I finally asked her out on a date, but due to the distance (I living in GA) there was some difficutly. Our first date was on 11/23/2005 when I flew out to Oklahoma to spend Thanksgiving with her and her family. We regularly talk 2 hours per day every day and I have already booked flights to spend time with her every month in Oklahoma. This truly is a match made in Heaven.

I met a seminary student on Lutheran Singles Connection. And despite some hesitation, I sent him a smile and he emailed me back. After a few emails, we began calling each other and discovered how compatible we were on just about every level. On our first meeting, it was love at first site. I haven't been happier. We are talking about getting married in a few years. I have seen the success stories of online dating sites, I just never knew I would be one of them!

Just thought you guys would like to know a success story from LSC. I joined in January of 2005 and within 4 days began corresponding with a gentleman on your web site. Despite the fact that he lived in Ohio and I lived in Colorado, we managed to continue corresponding until the end of March when we met face to face. It was wonderful and I knew right away that the relationship had potential. We saw each other again in summer, over labor day and at my fall break from school, Christmas, spring break and by summer of 06 we knew we would be sharing our lives together. We are getting married in Texas next Friday (March 30) and I am just so thankful that I found your site.
